The Bribery Act 2010 came into force across the UK on 1 July 2011. The act makes it a criminal offence for an individual or commercial organisation to offer or receive a bribe to bring about or reward the improper performance of a function or activity.

For this purpose, "bribe" means a financial or other advantage, intended to induce a person to give improper assistance in breach of their duty, or to otherwise improperly influence someone with the underlying purpose of obtaining/retaining business, or an advantage in the course of business.

As a result of the 2010 Act, Farrar Levin Legal Recruitment has a strict anti-bribery and corruption policy. We base our business relationships on transparency, trust and accountability. We will not directly or indirectly engage in bribery or corruption in any form and have a zero-tolerance approach to breach. We will never offer or accept any form of payment or incentive intended to improperly influence a business decision. We pride ourselves on our reputation of always acting ethically and fairly in our business dealings.

All of our activities are managed in full compliance with this policy and with all applicable legal and regulatory anti-bribery and corruption obligations. We expect our business partners to have similar policies which apply to all dealings with, on behalf of, or involving Farrar Levin Legal Recruitment.
